Barack Obama Chooses Joe Biden As His Running Mate

Barack Obama, has finally announced who will be his running mate. He has chosen Delaware senator, Joe Biden as his vice-presidential hopeful, who he hails as a “distinguished leader”.

In his hometown of Illinois, Obama told a massive and excited crowd at a rally on Saturday that he found someone who is ready to step in and be president.

Obama when on to say this about Joe Biden:

“A man with a distinguished record, a man with fundamental decency, and that man is Joe Biden.”

The 65-year-old senator, who has served the Senate for more than 30 years, is the chairman of the Senate Foreign Relations Committee and a highly respected voice in the US on international affairs. He was also a candidate for the Democratic nomination in the early stages but dropped out because of lack of support.

Do you think, Obama should have gone with Hillary Clinton instead? Let’s debate this one.

“So Sarah Palin can read a teleprompter, big deal” What about the issues?

You have posted your comment in the wrong section but I’ll obliged you by saying that Sarah Palin is a breath of fresh, just like Obama and that’s good for politics. To answer your question Mello, Sarah’s issues are inline with the issues of the Republican party therefore they are already stated. Please also remember that it has been little over a week since she was selected as John McCain’s running mate; therefore she is not as fresh on the campaign trail as everyone else.
