Bruce Golding Is Too Soft To Lead Jamaica Out Of The Economic Crisis
Since leading his party to power in the general election in 2007, Bruce Golding has faced a number of challenges that has turn his triumphant victory into a nightmare. The most pressing factor is the economic crisis that the world is now facing and the nightmare that the opposition party has promised him and the country. Moreso, we have seen this promised come to pass. There have been an unprecedented assault on our youths, one bi-election and a few more to come and the most disgusting of them all, the attack on our tourism sector.
Before we point any fingers we should always have evidence to substantiate any claims we make; however, it doesn’t take a genious to know that something is up with these recent attacks on tourists from Canada, our largest market, in terms of percentage growth.
Bruce Golding needs to get tough and leave his nice guy demeaner behind. The job will only get tougher and tougher. Hard decisions will have to be made and the Government needs to lead from the front and investigate what seems to be a worrying trend developing. If the local police can not do the job properly, then ask for help, Mr. Prime Minister.
